Kindergarten is the beginning of formalized education. It provides the bridge between the egocentric world of the preschooler to the world of others and interaction with them. BCCDS has a full day Kindergarten that provides an exciting, creative curriculum from 9am-3:30 pm.  Extensive research on Kindergarten indicates that overall, students who attend full day Kindergarten manifest significantly greater achievement than students who attend half day Kindergarten.

Our power packed curriculum includes the following:  Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Spanish, Gym, Music, and Computers. All of these subjects are geared toward a Kindergarten level and presented in an educationally exciting way. The teacher creates an environment from an understanding of child development and a respect of individual differences, by ensuring that activities taking place become the content of thinking, growing, and discovering.  Emphasis is also placed on creating an environment which encourages optimal social development and self-esteem. In addition, kindergarteners participate in our school chorus, plays, and concerts. We also offer students private instrumental and vocal lessons.

Transportation is provided at no additional cost.Your child can either be picked up/dropped off at a Magic Cottage Child Care Center in Yardley or Morrisville by our own private bus, or there is also transportation provided by your own school district. 

Before school care (7am-9am), after school care (3:30pm-6pm), and school holidays are offered by Magic Cottage in Yardley, Levittown and Morrisville. Magic Cottage (www.magiccottageschool.com), serving Bucks County with over 30 years of child care for infants to Kindergarten age, is affiliated with BCCDS, making BCCDS the perfect choice for the younger student.
